Leaving aside the rarity of the nickel finish, this pistol has an unusual story as the last Savage pistol to be assigned a serial numbered by the factory.  Two Roe Clark letters explain how the serial number was assigned by the factory at the request of the RCMP so it could be marked in Canada to have a serial number stamped on the frame as required by Canadian law.

CONDITION:  Very good plus with 90% bright nickel, flaked on the right frame at front of triggerguard and on top of slide.
