This is one of the Savage .45 pistols that went head to head with the Browning designed Colt .45 for consideration as the US military sidearm in 1907-1911. Fewer than 300 were ever made. This pistol has "Savage Arms Co." and ".45" marked on the slide, and "fire" & "safe" on the frame. It has been professionally restored by Steve Moeller.
CONDITION: Restored, with 98%+ bright blue, strong case colors on trigger.
