Smith & Wesson .44 Hand Ejector, 4th Model of 1950 Target.  6 ½” barrel.  Bright blue and nickel tu-tone. Red ramp front sight ,Std hammer, standard trigger, Smooth rosewood coke bottle target grips.  99%.  Photocopy of Roy Jinks factory letter shows this gun was "specially built for John Amber of Gun Digest Publications", with blued frame and nickel barrel and cylinder to John Amber of Gun Digest from the factory shipped on 8/24/1954.  It was returned in late 1954 and sold to Rex Firearms of New York City, "our distributor who specialized in unusual finishes," on 7/29/1955. 

CONDITION:  About as new, possibly unfired since factory.  99%+ original bright blue & nickel, excellent+ grips.
